Please accept my resignation nom the City of Dubuque Long-Range Planning
Advisory Commission effective today, March 15, 2000. My responsibilities with my
new position, as Dubuque County Zoning Administrator, make it difficuh to devote the
time and energy needed to be a commissioner on this commission. I have thoroughJy
enjoyed my time as a commissioner. It has been educational and has enlightened me to
the exhaustive and ongoing process of Long Range Planning.
In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, Laura, for a job well
done. I find you have been most helpful to me as a commission member. As chair, I
have found you to be a knowledgeable resource. The City of Dubuque is very fortunate
to have you at the helm.
I am looking forward to watching the City grow under your leadership, especially
the completion of the Riverftont Development.
