Proclamation_Kinderpalooza Day 9 8 11
PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, the Dubuque Community School District Foundation programs serve to
enrich the educational experience of our students, grow community
investment to increase opportunities in our schools and promote the
importance of public education; and
WHEREAS, Kinderpalooza, an event underwritten by grants secured by the Dubuque
Community School Foundation from the Dubuque Racing Association and
Mercy Family Pharmacy, seeks to provide all incoming kindergartners and
their families with medical, dental and community services and resources;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Dubuque joins with the Dubuque Community School District
Foundation in supporting the efforts of the District Kinderpalooza team:
Nancy Murphy, Early Childhood Coordinator and
Rhonda Simpson, Health Service Coordinator.
NOW THEREFORE, I, ROY D. BUOL, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY COUNCIL, STAFF AND CITIZENS OF DUBUQUE, DO HEREBY

PROCLAIM THE 8 DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2011 AS
KINDERPALOOZA DAY
IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, AS OUR COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER TO
