The purpose of this request is to reallocate funds to pay for utility related analysis
examining the impacts of extending water and sanitary services to the Airport as part of
a potential annexation.
DISCUSSION
At the request of the City Planner, the Airport has been asked to analyze the impacts of
a potential annexation, particularly as it relates to the extension of City water and
sanitary services to the Airport property. As part of the study, the impacts of the utility
extension on existing airport infrastructure, the benefits to the new Terminal Facility and
the associated costs will be discussed.
RECOMMENDATION
I request your approval to reallocate $26,500 from existing projects to fund this project.
BUDGET IMPACT
$25,000 is remaining in line item 10051400 -62731 appropriated for annual maintenance
charges for the secondary radar in the Fiscal Year 2011 budget. From FY 12, the
remaining $1,500.00 from property maintenance in line item 10051400 - 62431.
ACTION TO BE TAKEN
I respectfully request the City Council approve the reallocation of funds.
