(MWH) appreciates the opportunity to submit this proposal to provide continuing environmental engineering assistance to the City of Dubuque, Iowa (City) relating to the mercury spill and the former petroleum product underground storage tank (UST) at the City's water pollution control plant (WPCP) site. More detailed descriptions of the proposed activities for these three general tasks are outlined below. Task I — Mercury Remediation Sampling and Reporting Activities to be conducted under this task are intended to complete the final reporting for the mercury remediation in the trickling filter basins. The final report will be prepared in hard copy and in an interactive electronic pdf format. MWH will also provide comments on any other related activities proposed by Seneca or requested by the IDNR. MWH understands an extension for submitting the Tier 2 report was requested and granted by the IDNR. The Tier 2 report is due January 1, 2012.
