A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF LOTS 18, 19, 20, 21 AND 22, FOREST
GRANGE SUBDIVISION, IN DUBUQUE COUNTY, IOWA
Whereas, there has been filed with the City Clerk a final plat of Lots 18, 19,20,21 and 22,
Forest Grange Subdivision, in Dubuque County, Iowa, and
Whereas, upon said final plat appear streets to be known as Forest Meadow, and
Whereas, the preliminary plat has been examined by the Zoning Advisory Commission and
has its approval endorsed thereon, with the waiver of Article IV. Design and Improvement Standards
of the Subdivision Regulations, except for Section 42.19; and
Whereas, said final plat has been reviewed by the City Planner and had her approval
endorsed thereon; and
Whereas, said final plat has been examined by the City Council and they find that it conforms
to the statutes and ordinances relating to it.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DUBUQUE, IOWA:
Section 1. That the final plat of Lots 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, Forest Grange Subdivision, in
Dubuque County, Iowa, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Council are hereby authorized
and directed to endorse the approval of the City of Dubuque, Iowa, upon said final plat.
Section 2. That the City Council hereby waives Article IV, Design and Improvement
Standards, except for Section 42.19, Lots and Blocks, of the City Subdivision Regulations.

Dubuque County, Iowa
INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this memo is to request City Council approval of the final plat of Lots 18,
19,20,21 and 22 of Forest Grange Subdivision, located within Dubuque County, within
the two-mile subdivision territorial review limits, The plat, staff report and resolution are
attached for your review.
DISCUSSION
The final plat of Lots 18, 19,20,21 and 22, Forest Grant Subdivision is located south of
Kennedy Road and east of Coventry Lane in Dubuque County. The subdivision lies
within the two mile review area as established by the City's Subdivision Ordinance but
is not in an immediate service area for public utilities.
The Zoning Advisory Commission approved the preliminary plat in August, 1990, The
proposed final plat complies with the approved preliminary plat and the subject lots front
on the already constructed Forest Meadow private street.
RECOMMENDATION
I recommend the City Council approve the final plat of Lots 18, 19,20,21 and 22,
Forest Grange Subdivision, waiving Article IV of the Subdivision Ordinance, except for
Section 42-19, Blocks and Lots,
