Re: Des1ruction of Clara Court
I trust 1hat the City has taken steps to require the conCractor, or the party employing it, to pay for
the rebuilding of Clara Court. The sCreet has been seriously damaged by the constant lraffic of
1rucks loaded with dirt being used to fill the gully at the east end of the sCreet. It would be very
unfair to expect 1hat the residents along the sCreet to live with the sCreet in its damaged condition, or
with a s1reet having slapstick patches failing to restore it to its first class condition. It would be
even worse were the City to require the owners living along the sCreet to pay for the restoration
work 1hat obviously will be needed.
