for the purpose of going into closed session in accordance with Chapter 21.5.1 (c) of the
Code of Iowa

Council met in special session at 5:30 p.m. in Conference Room B at City Hall
Present: Mayor Duggan, Council Members Cline, Michalski, Nicholson, Robbins, City Manager
Michael Van Milligen, Corporation Counsel Barry Lindahl
Absent: Council Members Buol, Markham
Mayor Duggan read the call and stated this is a special session of the City Council called for
the purpose of going into closed session in accordance with Chapter 21.5.1 (c) of the Code of
Iowa.
At 5:34 p.m., upon motion it was resolved to go into Closed Session in accordance with
Chapter 21.5(1 )(c, to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation.
At 6: 12 p.m., Council reconvened special session with statement that staff had been given
direction.
There being no further business, upon motion meeting adjourned at 6: 13 p.m.
