Dear Jeff,
On behalf of the City of Dubuque, I am pleased to offer our commitment to the
proposed Student Support Services Program at the University of Dubuque. I appreciate
the University's efforts to assist more students in reaching their educational goals. I am
excited about offering the City's committment to educating low-income, first-generation,
and disabled students.
The City of Dubuque provides opportunities for paid and unpaid internships in the
Finance, Housing, Planning, Engineering, Information Services, Operations and
Maintenance, and Police Departments. On occasion, interns are hired to complete
special projects. When possible, the City of Dubuque will offer internship opportunities
to participating students.
It is our goal to offer our commitment to promote the educational success of your
students. I am very excited about cooperating with the Student Support Services
Program in an effort to improve the retention and graduation of participating students at
the University of Dubuque.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
~
