Thank you for taking the time to comment on the proposed relief plans for the
319 area code. Your comments will be added to other comments that will be
reviewed before the Iowa Utilities Board makes any decision in this matter.
The depth of your comments demonstrates that you have spent some time
reviewing the information and formulating your position. On behalf of the Board
and the staff I want you to know that your effort is greatly appreciated.
This is one of those decisions where right and wrong can be found on both sides.
As public officials, I am certain you can appreciate the challenge the Board will
have in making this decision. This is why public participation is so very critical to
the process.
It is particularly helpful when position comments including supporting reasoning
as you have done in your letter.
