City Council, Special Session, July 31,2000
Council met on Monday, July 31, 2000 at 5:00 P.M. in the North Veranda Room, Eagle Point Park.
Present: Mayor Duggan, Council Members Buol, Cline, Markham, Michalski, Nicholson, City Manager
Michael Van Milligen, Corporation Counsel Barry Lindahl.
Absent: Council Member Robbins.
Mayor Duggan read the call and stated this is a Special Session of the City Council called for the
purpose of discussing the Fourth Street Peninsula Plan.
Discussion was led by Tim Moerman, Assistant City Manager; also present were representatives of the
Durrant Group, Peninsula Gaming, Chamber of Commerce and the Fourth Street Peninsula Work Group.
Council discussed concerns and visions for the future of the Fourth Street Peninsula area and gave staff
and others their input on various issues.
There being no further business, Buol moved to adjourn. Seconded by Cline. Motion carried 6-0.
The meeting adjourned at 5:48 P.M.
