Duggan and Members of the City Council City Hall Dubuque, Iowa 52001 Dear Mayor and Councilmembers: Enclosed is an Ordinance amending the Long-Range Planning Advisory Commission to provide that the liaison from the Zoning Advisory Commission shall not be a member of the Long-Range Planning Advisory Commission, from the date of adoption of the Ordinance until September 1,2001. I would point out that this, in effect, results in an eight- member Long-Range Planning Advisory Commission. The City Council may want to consider increasing the membership to ten members, which with the suspension of the liaison member, would result in nine voting members in the interim.
