Van Milligen, City Manager SUBJECT: Bee Branch Platting DATE: October 7, 2011 Dubuque Whit Al- Amehca city 2007 As part of the sustainable construction effort, the original lot at 2300 Washington Street of 60 feet was subdivided in two Tots with 30 feet of frontage to allow for the sale of relocated houses and the construction of the Bee Branch channel and adjacent alley way. City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends City Council approval of the Plats of Survey of Lots 1 -1, 2 -1, 1 -2 and 2 -2 of Bee Branch Subdivision No. 1. DISCUSSION As part of the sustainable construction effort, the original lot at 2300 Washington Street of 60 feet was subdivided in two lots with 30 feet of frontage to allow for the sale of relocated houses and the construction of the Bee Branch channel and adjacent alley way. The attached Plats of Survey of Lots 1 -1, 2 -1, 1 -2 and 2 -2 of Bee Branch Subdivision No. 1 subdivides the west 100 feet of each lot to allow for homes at 2300 and 2302 Washington Street. RECOMMENDATION An owner's consent is required on the platting documents prior to recording. It is my recommendation that these Plats of Surveys for Lots 1 -1, 2 -1, 1 -2 and 2 -2 of Bee Branch Subdivision No. 1 be approved and signed by the Mayor in order to make available two parcels for relocated homes.
