Whereas, there has been filed with the City Clerk a plat of survey Lot 1-2 & Lot 2-2 of
Kerper Industrial Park, and lots 6, C & D of Kerper Industrial Park; and
Whereas, said survey plat has been examined by the Zoning Advisory Commission and
had its approval endorsed thereon; and
Whereas, said survey plat has been examined by the City Council and they find that it
conforms to the statutes and ordinances relating thereto.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DUBUQUE, IOWA:
Section 1. That the plat of survey Lot 1-2 & Lot 2-2 of Kerper Industrial Park and
Lots 6, C & D of Kerper Industrial Park, is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to endorse the approval of the City of Dubuque, Iowa, upon
said final plat.

INTRODUCTION
The City of Dubuque is submitting a minor final plat to resubdivide property located at
the end of Kerper Court. The submitted plat of survey creates five lots and thus is
. considered a minor final plat by the City Subdivision Regulations.
DISCUSSION
The City of DUbuque is requesting approval of the submitted plat of survey to allow the
creation of an additional lot for sale and development. Lot 1 of 2, Lot 6 and a portion of
the vacated right-ot-way for Kerper Court will be combined to make one lot. All the lots
platted as part of this plat of survey are in compliance with the City of Dubuque
Subdivision Regulations in terms of lot area and lot frontage.
RECOMMENDATION
Planning staff recommends the Zoning Advisory Commission approve the plat of survey
Lot 1 of 2 and Lot 2 ot 2 of Kerper Industrial Park and Lot 6, C, and 0 of Kerper
Industrial Park.

Discussion
Associate City Planner Kyle Kritz, representing the City of Dubuque, spoke in favor of the
request, indicating that the submitted plat of survey creates lots for future sale and
development.
The Zoning Advisory Commission discussed the request noting that the submitted survey plat
is in compliance with City of Dubuque Subdivision Regulations.
Recommendation
Bya vote of 7 to 0, the Zoning Advisory Commission recommends that the City Council
approve the request.
A simple majority vote is needed for the City Council to approve the request.
