Public Administration Review's (PAR) success owes much to the hard
work and commitment of its distinguished Board of Editors. PAR's status
as the premier journal of public administration is due, in part, to the
thoughtful, critical (and constructive) evaluation of manuscripts by
members of the Board of Editors.
Dr. James Perry, the PAR Editor -In- Chief, has nominated you for a
position on the board. It is my understanding that you are willing to serve.
Please be advised with this letter that I am accepting Dr. Perry's
nomination, thereby appointing you to the Board of Editors.
The term is for three years, contingent upon satisfactory performance as a
board member. Members of the PAR Board of Editors are expected to
uphold the values and principles of the American Society for Public
Administration (ASPA) in general and PAR in particular; review
manuscripts in a timely manner; attend Board meetings twice a year; and
serve on committees as assigned by the editor -in- chief. It is also an
expectation that members of the PAR Board are all ASPA members. If you
