Dear Mayor and City Councll Members:
I have been a resident of Dubuque for the past I i years and I know first
hand that I live in a safe community. I sure hope Dubuque will continue to
be that way as my husband and I raise our three children here.
That is why I am asking all of you to support the proposed city/county jail
expansion referendum on November 7th and 1 ask that the council pass a
resolution in favor of this project.
More than one million dollars has already been set aside by the city for the
expansion project.
Thank you for considering my request and for acknowledging the
importance of maintaining and improving the safety of our community.
