At 5: 15 P.M. Council convened for the meeting, Public Library Auditorium.
Present: Mayor Duggan, Council Members Buol, Markham, Michalski, Nicholson, Robbins, City
Manager Michael Van Milligen, Corporation Counsel Barry Lindahl.
Absent: Council Member Cline.
Mayor Duggan read the call and stated this is the special session of the City Council called for the
purpose of confirming the Police Chief appointment.
City Manager recommending approval of his selection of K. Bruce Wadding for the position of
Police Chief. Nicholson moved to concur with the City Manager's decision for the filling of the
Police Chief vacancy. Seconded by Buol. Tom Raschke, Mary Jacobs, Tom Pregler, Tom Parker,
Martin Sanchez, and Patty Sanchez spoke in opposition to the appointment. Motion carried 6-0.
Appointment of K. Bruce Wadding to the position of Police Chief approved.
There being no further business, upon motion meeting adjourned at 5:57 p.m.
