Van Milligen City Manager FROM: Randy Peck f!-f Personnel Manager SUBJECT: Petition for Bargaining Unit Amendment - Operating Engineer's Union The Operating Engineer's Union will be filing a petition to amend their bargaining unit to exclude the following classifications: Department Number of Emplovees Affected Finance: Account Clerk I Water Meter Inspector 4 1 Public Works: Account Clerk I Account Clerk II o 1 Police: Clerk Typist 4 Building Services: Clerk Typist o Housing and Community Development: Clerk Typist 0 Health Services: Milk Sanitarian 0 Water Pollution Control: Laboratory Technician I 1 Dan Sommers, President of the Operating Engineer's Union, has submitted a Stipulation of Bargaining Unit as Amended. I have reviewed the stipulation and recommend that we agree to the amended unit as described in the stipulation. The requested action is for the City Council to approve a motion authorizing you to sign the Stipulation of Bargaining Unit as Amended. If you have any questions, please feel free to call.
