Purchase of Weidemann Property (Stealth Racing)
At the March 21, 2005 City Council meeting the City Council approved a purchase
agreement with Terrence and Linda Weidemann for the purchase of the Stealth Racing
property in the Ice Harbor. The conditions of the purchase have all been met and the
parties closed the transaction April 1, 2005.
Attached is a resolution accepting the deed to the property. I recommend that the
resolution be adopted.

RESOLUTION NO. 135-05
ACCEPTING THE DEED TO CERTAIN REAL ESTATE IN DUBUQUE COUNTY,
IOWA FROM TERRENCE J. AND LINDA M. WEIDEMANN
WHEREAS, the City of Dubuque entered into an Agreement with Terrence
J. Weidemann and Linda M. Weidemann for the purchase of the real property in
Dubuque County, Iowa, described as follows:
The Southeasterly 6 feet of Lot 6, Lot 7, Lot 8, Lot 9, Lot 10, Lot 11,
Lot 2 of Lot 12, Lot 2 of Lot 13, Lot 2 of Lot 14, and Lot 2 of Lot 15,
all in Block 29 of "Dubuque Harbor Improvement Co.'s Addition" to
the City of Dubuque, Iowa, according to the recorded plat thereof,
AND
Lot A of Lot 11, and Lot 2 of Lot 11, both in Industrial Subdivision
No. 2 in the City of Dubuque, Iowa, according to the recorded plats
thereof, from and including the platting of said Industrial Subdivision
No.2, subject to easements of record.
AND WHEREAS, the tenns of the Agreement have now been met.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Dubuque hereby accepts the Warranty Deed from Terrence
J. and Linda M. Weidemann attached hereto.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to record this
Resolution and the Warranty Deed with the Dubuque County Recorder.
Passed, approved and adopted this 4th day of April, 2005.
