AIRPORT COMMISSION MINUTES
Commissioner Daoud moved to approve the minutes of the July 20, 2011
Commission meeting and the motion was seconded by Commissioner Brotherton.

01. REVIEW STATISTICS
Various statistics were discussed. Jet A fuel sales for the Presidential visit in
August amounted to almost 33,000 gallons.

Commissioner Santillo made a motion to nominate Charles Daoud as Airport
Commission Chair. Commissioner Accinelli seconded the motion. AYES: All.

Commission Vice Chair. Commissioner Accinelli seconded the motion. AYES: All.

03. UTILITY EXTENSION STUDY ENGINEERING RESOLUTION
Commissioner Daoud motioned to approve Resolution A700 -1 -2011 Authorizing an
Agreement for Engineering Services for Utility Extension Study. Commissioner
Accinelli seconded the motion. AYES: All. NAYES: None.
04. RUNWAY SAFETY AREA ENGINEERING GRANT #47 CLOSEOUT
RESOLUTION
Commissioner Daoud motioned to approve Resolution A800 -1 -2011 Accepting the
Improving Runway Safety Area — Phase 1 Design Closeout of Project.
Commissioner Accinelli seconded the motion. AYES: All. NAYES: None.
05. ENGINEERING SERVICES HANGAR REPLACEMENT PAVING RESOLUTION
Commissioner Daoud motioned to approve Resolution A900 -1 -2011 Authorizing an
Agreement for Engineering Services for Hangar Replacement — Phase 2 Paving.
Commissioner Accinelli seconded the motion. AYES: All. NAYES: None.
DISCUSSION
06. MARKETING UPDATE
A new marketing campaign "Look Before You Book" will be starting September 19th
and will continue through the end of the year. An icon on the Airport website will
explain the program and help individuals with inquiries regarding airfare
discrepancies.
07. MANAGER'S UPDATE
Manager Grierson notified the Commission that the Airport Open House was held
on September 11th and close to 1,100 breakfasts were served by the EAA. The
annual Part 139 safety inspection is scheduled for October 3rd and 4th. Honor
Flights 3 & 4 will be held on September 26th and 27th
