SUBJECT: Water Service Lock and Dam No. 11
Water Plant Manager Bob Green is recommending approval of a contract with the U.S. Army
Corps of Engineers for provision of water services to the Lock and Dam.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council approval.

SUBJECT: Water Service Lock and Dam No. 11
The Army Corp of Engineers are requiring a Contract Agreement in
providing water service to their location.
This contract basically states the following:

No connection charges will be charged for the connection
to our system.
That the portion of water main to be installed by
them will be built to City of Dubuque standards and
will be accepted by the Water Department when completed.
That the water rates for this account is the same
as what is charged to other customers.

Corporation Counsel Barry Lindahl has reviewed this Contract
and finds it to be acceptable for signing. I am recommending
with your approval and through City Council action, that they
authorize you to sign this contract.
