Dear Mayor Buol:
This notice is being provided to you pursuant to the Federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining
Notification Act of 1988.
McGraw -Hill Education, a division of The McGraw -Hill Companies, Inc. has decided to close permanently
the McGraw -Hill Education distribution center located at 7500 Chavenelle Road, Dubuque, Iowa 52002.
As a result, we will permanently lay off 52 employees over the next three months, the first termination
date to be effective on February 6, 2012, and the remaining employees to be terminated by March 2,
2012. None of the affected employees is represented by a union and or has any "bumping" rights.
