Please accept this endorsement on behalf of Hillcrest Family Services application for
the PATH grant (RFP # BDPS-06-1 01. Hillcrest has a long and successful history of
serving mentally ill and chronically mentally ill persons with a variety of services
including: supported community living, vocational, IPR, RCF. RCF-PMl and HUD funded
transitional housing. Hillcrest is an active partner in Dubuque's Homeless Advisory
Board and larger continuum of care. The reputation of Hillcrest staff serving mentally ill
consumers is an excellent one. The City believes that Hillcrest can continue this
excellent service delivery to chronically mentally ill individuals with the addition of the
PATH funding.
