INTRODUCTION
This memo will detail the Alcohol Compliance settlement between the City of Dubuque
and Accessorize Me.
BACKGROUND
Accessorize Me has a liquor license for its establishment located at 474 Bluff Street. On
December 13, 2011 the Dubuque Police Department did an alcohol compliance check
at the business and the employee sold alcohol to underage youth compliance monitors.
Accessorize Me has elected to forego a public hearing and will instead submit to
statutory penalties prescribed by law. Accessorize Me has agreed to serve a 14 day
suspension and has further indicated that after the suspension has been served, they
will no longer offer alcohol for sale.
CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATION
The City Legal Department and the Police Department have reviewed the agreement
and concur with the requirements.
ACTION REQUESTED
City Manager review, City Council approval, and Mayor Buol signature of the attached
Acknowledgment/Settlement Agreement.

2B -16, Accessorize Me chooses the following penalty:
