Now activated for 70 MPH winds and /or golf ball
size hail as well as Tornadoes
In 2010, the sirens were activated twice due to
the high winds being reported in Western
Dubuque County and both siren activations
were for the same storm.
2 storm siren activations in 2010 and 1 in 2011
due to the new criteria.

Rolls all of our city plans into one county wide
plan and will cover all jurisdictions in the county
