Subject: Olympic heights
Good afternoon: I am curious especially after last night meeting to find out how many
houses Mr. Spahn plans to put on Olympic Height and W 32nd. Area. The reason I'm
concerned is because of how these houses are somewhat plunked down side by side
with no room for expansion and I think there should be a limit by the council to decide
on how many houses to go in this area. I disagree completely with anymore than 40
houses in this area, because of all of these issues I'm bringing up today.
I'm also really concerned about the water runoff from these houses going to be built
where does the water go ??? I figure growing up in this neighbor hood that the water
will flow down to Central and Jackson and Washington and the B Branch area. And will
possibly flood the street and houses again. Along with Mr. Spahn project of houses is
also the project on North Grandview and W 32nd street houses that are going to be
built. Again where will the water go from these houses being built. I already see new
deposits of dirt in the catch basin on 32nd street.
And I have another question to ask, how many more houses are going to be built
around the city of Dubuque and where are the possible locations for these
subdivisions? I think the house building has gotten a little carried away. Thank
You Robin Kennicker 904 Lincoln dub. la 52001
