This is a claim in which claimant alleges that when Water Department employees
flushed the fire hydrant in front of claimant's residence, the hose was pointed in the
wrong direction which resulted in the flooding of claimant's basement.
This claim has been referred to Public Entity Risk Services of Iowa, the agent for the Iowa
Communities Assurance Pool.
