Narrative Description: Architectural Style And Key Stylistic Elements: Vernacular two (or three)-story gable front L-plan, subordinated gable front wing to right front, with pedimented entry, original wrap-around porch, side hall (left) plan Physical Description: 32x25 L-plan, original wrap-around porch, south 16x18 side wing, attached garage to north Alterations: Aluminum siding, windows reduced, angled corner porch entry gone. Building Permits: 1976-14x20 attached garage Outbuildings: None Landscaping Notes: On sheer bluff ledge, ground plummets to west, house on recessed shelf below grade, walkout basement to south 8. Narrative Statement of Significance: Evaluation: The house has been re-sided and the porch has suffered some unsympathetic alterations but on the whole the original porch and house design remain intact and this residence fills a gateway function as part of the Madison Street approach into the identified district.
