INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this memorandum is to request the opportunity for the Midwestern Chapter of International Society of
Arboriculture to present the Award of Achievement to Steve Pregler at the beginning of the April 2, 2012 City Council
meeting
BACKGROUND
Iowa is one of seven states within the Midwestern Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture Steve has been a
very actwe member in the State of Iowa and with the Midwestern Chapter The Chapter requested the opportunity to present
the award at a public meeting and the Council meeting seemed the best place for this award presentation A member of the
Chapter will be present at the meeting to present the award to Steve
Steve is well known throughout the State and region for his efforts in the areas of arboriculture It is an honor for him to
receive such an award
