MINUTES

Present: Commissioners Dan White and Jim Schilling
Also present: Randy Peck, Jackie Rodriquez, Mark Ludescher and various firefighters
1. Approval of minutes from meeting of March 15, 2012
Motion by Schilling. Seconded by White. Motion carried 2 -0
2. Request to schedule an entrance examination for the position Water Plant Operator
Motion by Schilling to set the application deadline for June 4 at 5:00 p.m. and a test date of
June 12 at 6:0 p.m. Seconded by White. Schilling will proctor. Motion carried 2 -0.
3. Establish the passing point for the entrance position of Firefighter (March 3 exam
date);
Motion by Schilling to approve the passing score of 70 and above correct answers as
recommended by Fire Chief Dan Brown. Seconded by White. Motion carried 2 -0.
4. Establish the passing point for the promotional positions of Fire Equipment
Operator, Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, Assistant Fire Marshal and EMS
Supervisor (March 6 -8 test dates)
Motion by White to approve the passing scores as recommended by Fire Chief Dan Brown:
Fire Equipment Operator = 66; Lieutenant = 69; Captain = 71; Assistant Chief — 74;
Assistant Fire Marshal = 74; EMS Supervisor = 67. Seconded by Schilling. Motion carried
2 -0.
There being no further business, Schilling moved to adjourn at 9:30 a.m. Seconded by White.
Motion carried 2 -0.
