Council met at 6:00 p.m. Public Library Auditorium
Present-Mayor Duggan, Council Members Buol, Markham, Michalski, Nicholson, Robbins,
Voetberg. City Manager Michael Van Milligen, Corporation Counsel Barry A. Lindahl.
Mayor Duggan read the call and stated this is a Special Session of the City Council called for the
purpose to discuss Environmental Assessment for Southwest Arterial Project.
City Manager requesting City Council to endorse the Southwest Arterial Project, upon motion was
received and filed. Voetberg moved adoption of Resolution No. 91-99 Supporting the Southwest
Arterial Environmental Assessment Project and Location Study and directed resolution and letter
be forwarded to Iowa Department of Transportation advising of support. Seconded by Markham.
Motion carried 7-0.
There being no further business, Michalski moved to adjourn. Seconded by Voetberg. Motion
carried 7-0. Meeting adjourned at 6:03 P.M.
Council proceeded with Fiscal Year 2000 Departmental reviews with Civic Center Division,
Recreation Division, Park Division, Finance Department and Parking Division.
