Dear Property Owner:
The Dubuque County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at
7:00 P.M. on November 16, 1999, 3rd Floor, North Courtroom, Dubuque County Courthouse,
Dubuque, Iowa to hear the rezoning request of John George from R-2 to B-1.
The applicant is requesting to rezone from R-2, Single Family, to B-1, Business, 2 acres
more or less, for the purpose of a building to store equipment for J & J Tree Service (existing
business) and to have a small office for the business. The property, located on Cedar Cross Road,
is legally described as Lot 1 of J George Subdivision, SW 'i4 SE Y.., Section 34, Dubuque
Township (T89N,R2E). (See map on back of this letter.)
All interested parties wishing to speak for or against the above proposal will be given an
opportunity to be heard.
If you are unable to attend, but wish to have your comments known, you may submit
comments to the Zoning Office, 13063 Seippel Road, Dubuque, Iowa 52002, or you may call the
Zoning Office at (319) 557-7396. If you have questions pertaining to the ~bove matter, you may

Petitions, either for or against the proposal, MUST include the address of the
