This is a claim for damages to the claimant's property, which
he alleges it sustained when a fire truck backed into the gutter on
his garage.
According to the report of Fire Chief E. Daniel Brown, it was
determined after an investigation that the fire engine from Station
3 was most likely responsible for the damage to the claimant's
garage, and he recommends payment.
It is therefore the recommendation of the Legal Department
that this claim, in the amount of $50, be paid by the Finance
Director and submitted to ICAP for reimbursement.
