Comments submitted included adding the State boundary between Illinois, Wisconsin and Iowa on Panel 244 and correcting the spelling of Maus Park on Page 21, Table 3, of the FIS report. Please note that only those submittals that relate to the addition or modification of the proposed flood hazard information (i.e., Base Flood Elevations, base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area boundaries, zone designations, or regulatory floodways) shown on the FIRM and in the FIS report that satisfy the data requirements defined in Title 44, Chapter I, Part 67 of the Code of Federal Regulations are considered appeals. Because your submittal did not meet these criteria, FEMA has processed it as a `comment.' We have determined that changes to the Preliminary FIRM and Preliminary FIS report dated May 4, 2012, are warranted based on the submitted data and will incorporate the necessary changes into the final version of the FIRM and FIS report. We will also initiate a statutory 90 -day appeal period for certain communities within Dubuque County. FEMA will then finalize the FIRM and FIS report by issuing a Letter of Final Determination (LFD).
