Cable TV Commission_George Herrig ResignationTo: Craig Nowack
Cable TV Commission
Dubuque, Iowa 52001
July 15,2012
Dear Craig,
I want to inform you that as of July15, 2012 I am submitting my resignation as a
commissioner on the Cable TV Commission. Our overseas missionary work has
increased greater these past few months and will continue in the future as well.
(Great Britain in April, Ethiopia in late May, early June, Nigeria, Liberia and Eastern
Europe for all of August along with other tentative dates for this fall and spring).
Due to my time restraints with these and other responsibilities have led me to this
decision to resign. It was not an easy decision to reach. It has been 7 years that I
have been a part of this commission and I have enjoyed working with you, my fellow
commissioners and Jim Barefoot. I cannot say enough of the dedication and
professionalism that everyone has displayed while being on the commission. I also
believe I have gained special friendships by knowing each and everyone through
this time. I want to thank everyone personally for that. I hope the best for the future
of the Cable TV Commission and my decision rests much easier knowing that you
will still have a quorum with the recent addition of the two commissioner's, Ron and
Kevin.
Please share this letter with the fellow commissioners, with Jim Barefoot and give
them my best regards.
Respectfully and Sincerely,
George Herrig
