On behalf of the Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens I would like to
thank you for the $2,162.24 check (#387560, dated 7-25-12). This was for a
DMASWA Grant for half the cost of labor and materials for 6 Recycle Bins.
Many people comment on the good looking bins and they are wearing well.
The weather has been hot and dry but the gardens look good. Volunteers
have been watering the annuals and the big pots of flowers as well as
recently planted bushes and trees. Thank you for helping in this ongoing
30+ year effort to establish an outstanding garden created by about 300
volunteers and the generosity of the community.
Our free Sunday "Music in the Gardens" concerts continue through August.
