of partners, Project HOPE seeks to
improve inter - agency collaboration
and increase access to services in order

adults to education and employment

Increase access to education and skills training and support successful
transitions into work or school
• Help high school drop -outs obtain diplomas or GED

Opportunity Dubuque
Connects workers to training and employers with skilled workers
• Provides scholarships for advanced manufacturing training
• Connects newly trained workers with employers
• Employer partnerships support orientation, training and
interviews
Getting Ahead in a Just - Gettin' -by -World and Circles
• Getting Ahead is a 16 -week program that helps people in poverty
to understand the "hidden rules of the middle class "; Circles
provides ongoing support to Getting Ahead graduates.
• Programs connect people in poverty to services that address
barriers to employment
Earn it, Keep it, Grow it
Teaches families skills to better utilize their financial resources
• Bank On Dubuque connects unbanked and under - banked
families to traditional bank accounts through partnerships with
the majority of our community's financial institutions.
• Opportunity Passport provides matched Individual Development
Accounts and financial literacy training to youth aging out of
foster care through a partnership with Dupaco and Four Oaks.
• The Earned Income Tax Credit program with Operation New
View helps low - income families receive tax credits that can be
worth as much as a month's pay.
