Housing and Community Development Department Director David Harris is providing
the City Council with a progress report on rehabilitation repairs made by the owner of
409 Burch Street.
I respectfully recommend that this matter be tabled until January 3. 2006.

Re: Burch Street status report
The property at 409 Burch Street, owned by John White, was again inspected on
28 November. The attached photos show substantial progress. Remaining work
includes the rear of the roof; rear roof soffit; and siding/painting on sections of the
south and west (rear) sides of the structure. The inspection report notes that the
owner intends to build a porch addition on the south side, which explains why
that section of siding has not yet been installed.
