AMENDING THE CITY OF DUBUQUE CODE OF ORDINANCES SECTION 2-22
MEETINGS-DATE ESTABLISHING REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF DUBUQUE, IOWA:
Section 1. City of Dubuque Code of Ordinances Sec. 2-22 is amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 2-22. Meetings-Date:
Regular meetings of the council shall be held on the first and third
Monday of each month and special meetings may be called from time
to time by the mayor or a majority of the members of the council.
When the day fixed for any regular meeting of the council falls upon
a day designated as a legal or national holiday or city holiday, such
meeting shall be held at the same hour on the next succeeding day
not a holiday.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon publication.
