Nature of Claim
Property Damage
ThiS is a claim in which the claimant alleges that the driver of a mini-bus damaged the
canopy at the SIsters of the Presentation located at 2360 Carter Road after striking it while
attempting to drop off a passenger.
According to the report of Karen Sisler, Acting Transit Manager, on September 13, 2005
as a City of Dubuque mini-bus driver was driving under the canopy at the Sisters of the
Presentation at 2360 Carter Road, the emergency hatch cover of the bus caught the
canopy over the front door.
It is therefore the recommendation of Karen Sisler to approve this claim for the amount
of the submitted Invoice of $401.00. The' Legal Department concurs with this
recommendation. '
