RE: Appointments to Dubuque Initiatives Board of Directors
Honorable Mayor and City Council Members:
As your non-profit development partner, Dubuque Initiatives congratulates and
welcomes to the City Council the new mayor and council members. Dubuque
Initiatives has a 20+ year history of working with the City of Dubuque to further
economic opportunities for our citizens. Current projects include working with the
City to market development property in the Port of Dubuque.
The Board of Directors is comprised of 9 members, including the Mayor and two
City Council members appointed by the City Council. For the last number of
years, Terry Duggan, Ann Michalski and John Markham have served as Board
members. Others serving on the Board include the City Manager, the Greater
Dubuque Development Executive Director, Dave Frommelt, Teri Goodmann, Marty
McNamer and myself.
As President of Dubuque Initiatives, I would ask that the City Council make its
designated appointments as soon as convenient. Dubuque Initiatives meets on
the 2nd Monday of each month from 12:00 - 1 :30 p.m. in the 1 st Floor Conference
Room at the City Hall Annex, 1300 Main Street. Lunch is provided.
