SUBJECT: Emergency Management Commission
The State of Iowa Code 29C.9 states that the Mayor of every city or their representative
shall be a member of the local County Emergency Management Commission.
Former Mayor Terry Duggan designated me for the City of Dubuque representative on
the Dubuque County Emergency Management Commission. Due to the recent change,
Mayor Roy Buol would be the City of Dubuque's representative on the commission
unless he wishes to defer that to the Fire Chief. This can be done with a letter to Willis
Wagner, Chairman of the Dubuque County Emergency Management Commission and
sent to Tom Berger.
