There are always two Oty Councilpersons and one County Supervisor on the Agency's Board of Directors. We need a
replacement for Dan Nicholson. Anne Michalski is our other Councilperson on the Board. Eric Manternach is the County's
representative, and he was just conflnned for 2006. The Board averages one meeting per month, which usually lasts from
one to two hours. Day and time are set by the Board. We were meeting the first Wednesday of each month in the late
afternoon. I can assure the new Board member that he{she will find the Agency's work and meetings to be substantive and
interesting. The Board is not tax-supported and negotiates contracts with its biggest customers and service providers. We
have a number of big issues we need to address In the coming months.

Don, I am putting together some material for the City Council meeting on Monday when they wlll make appointments to the
boards they sit on. Can you provide me with something on the agency on how many Council members are to be appointed,
how often and the date and time of regularly scheduled meetings. Thanks much.
