City Conference Board Meeting
February 17, 2006
On February 17, 2006 the members of the Dubuque City Conference Board met in the
Dubuque Board of Supervisor's Chambers, Dubuque County Courthouse, Dubuque,
Iowa. The purpose of the meeting was to make a decision concerning the direction the
negotiator should take regarding the collective bargaining agreement with union
employees.
The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Chairperson Roy Buol.
Roll call was taken. Those present were:

Also present were John Ganshirt, negotiator for the City Conference Board and Dubuque
City Assessor, Richard Engelken.
Mr. Demmer made a motion to enter closed session to discuss issues pertaining to the
collective bargaining agreement. Ms. Connors seconded the motion. All members voted
"Aye". Motion carried.
The Conference Board then entered closed session. Ms. Smith made a motion to end the
closed session. Ms. Michalski seconded the motion. All members voted "Aye". Motion
carried.
Ms. Smith made a motion to ratify the collective bargaining agreement as presented by
Mr. Ganshirt. Mr. Jones seconded the motion. All members voted "Aye". Motion carried.
Ms. Smith motioned to adjourn. Ms. Michalski seconded the motion. All members voted
"Aye". Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 4:25 p.m.
