Masterpiece on the Mississippi
Paperless Utility Billing Available
The City offers this optional electronic billing option as a convenience for
customers who choose it and to reduce the City's printing, paper, and postage
costs. Paperless billing participants receive an email notification each month
when their bill is available for online viewing. The service also features a secure,
web -based interface that allows customers to not only view their bill online, but
also past billing history and water consumption totals. Online enrollment available
at www. cityofdubuque .org /utilitybilling or call 563- 589 -4144.
Payment Options
Have your monthly total bill automatically debited from your financial institution
on the due date through Automatic Pre - Authorized Bill Payment (ACH).
Authorization form available online at www. cityofdubuque .org /utilitybilling or by
contacting Utility Billing.
Online bill payment (by credit or debit card or e- check) is available at
www.cityofdubuque.org/utilitybilling

Credit/debit card payments are accepted at City Hall or by phone,
563 -589 -4144. A convenience fee applies to card payments made by phone.
Refuse and Stormwater 50% Reduction of Monthly Fees
The City offers a 50% reduction in monthly refuse and stormwater fees for
income - qualified residential customers. Categories of eligibility are: age and
annual income, family size and annual income, and extreme financial hardship.
Customers may submit an application for consideration. Applications are renewed
on an annual basis. This credit does not apply to water and sewer fees. To apply
or for more information, contact Utility Billing at 563 - 589 -4144.
