PROCLAMA TION
WHEREAS, the home builders of Dubuque Homebuilders and Associates care
about our community and have provided safe, decent and affordable
housing for our population; and
WHEREAS, the building industry has provided economic growth to the
community by employing its citizens and building new homes; and
WHERAS, the building industry provides better housing and public facilities for
all citizens in the community; and
WHEREAS, home builders strive to beautify the community and conserve our
environment.
NOW THEREFORE, I, ROY D. BUOL, MAYOR OF THE CITY OF
DUBUQUE, IOWA, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM THE MONTH OF APRIL,
2006 AS:
"NEW HOMES MONTH"
IN THE CITY OF DUBUQUE, IOWA AND URGE THE CITIZENS OF OUR
CITY TO RECOGNIZE THE MONTH DEDICATED TO THE BUILDING OF
BETTER HOMES AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR OUR
COMMUNITY.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have
