SUBJECT: National Incident Management System (NIMS) Training Session
Fire Chief Dan Brown recommends City Council approval to hold a training session on
the National Incident Management System (NIMS) component for the Mayor and City
Council. If the City Council approves, this training session could be held Monday,
June 12, 2006, beginning at 5:15 p.m., and would take approximately two hours.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval to schedule the June 12 training session.
