Vehicle Damage This is a claim in which the claimant alleges that a 1998 Ford Windstar van, which he co- signed for, was stopped by Police for a missing headlight. The vehicle was parked as the driver did not have a valid license, and after the owner did not show up at the scene to claim the vehicle, the van was towed and stored by Wenzel Towing. After waiting the allotted amount of time, the Police Department sold the vehicle for parts. This claim has been referred to Public Entity Risk Services of Iowa, the agent for the Iowa Communities Assurance Pool. BAUls cc: Michael C.
