Thank you very much for submitting a bid for the Iowa League of Cif s 20 I 0 Annual Conference &
Exhibit. The Iowa League of Cities Annual Conference & Exhibit S. e Selection Committee met on
March 29, 2006 and voted to accept the Coralville bid to host the Annual Conference & Exhibit.
The League's Executive Board met the afternoon of April 7 and ratified the Committee's
recommendation. We received excellent proposals this year and the Committee'sjob was not an easy
one. The committee especially appreciated the individual presentations from the bidders and the effort
to come to their meeting, visit with them and answer questions.
I will send out a Request for Proposals (RFP) for 20 II in December of this year and hope you will
respond with a bid. The League appreciates the generous offers of support to host the Annual
Conference & Exhibit.
