Pavement Marking Project was awarded on April 25, 2013, to Selco, Inc., in the amount
of $77,699.56.
City Engineer Gus Psihoyos recommends that the award for the 2013 Pavement
Marking Project be officially recorded in the minutes of the City Council.

The 2013 Pavement Marking Project provides for the painting of the centerlines, lane
lines, and edge lines, as well as transverse markings including arrows, crosswalks, and
other associated symbols, markings and curb markings. Removal of existing pavement
markings may also be required.
The following is a summary of the bids received:
Selco, Inc. $ 77,699.56
Through the competitive quotation process for public improvements, this project was
awarded on April 25, 2013 to Selco, Inc. of Dubuque, Iowa, in the amount of
$77,699.56.
In accordance with the competitive quotation requirements of Iowa Code, Section 26.14,
it is necessary that the award for the 2013 Pavement Marking Project to be officially
recorded in the minutes of the City Council.
