During an inspection of the Corporate Aircraft Hangars it was determined that it is
necessary to replace the roof of the Pictaio Aerospace Hangar.
Airport Manager Bob Grierson requests City Council approval to reallocate $14,895 in
funds for the removal and replacement of the existing roof of the Pictaio Aerospace
Corporate Hangar. The funds will be reallocated from CIP's for Paint Hangar Exteriors
in the amount of $13,352 and Property Maintenance in the amount of $1,543.
I concur with the recommendation and respectfully request Mayor and City Council
approval.

INTRODUCTION
During an inspection of the Corporate Aircraft Hangars it was determined that it is necessary to replace the roof of the Pictaio
Aerospace Hangar. The Airport would like to request approval for the City Council to reallocate funds for removal and
replacement of the existing roof of Pictaio Aerospace Corporate Hangar.
BACKGROUND
This year's line item for Corporate Hangar Repairs has been fully expended. Deferral to next year's budget is not an option.
Annually, the airport budgets funds for these types of projects in our annual Capital Improvement Project Budget, however,
no funds have been allocated for FY 14.
DISCUSSION
The Airport currently has $13 352.00 (3902125- 73210) appropriated for painting hangars. We would like to use this money
to replace the roof on the Pictaio Aerospace Hangar. We have received an estimate from Jim Giese Commercial Roofing in
the amount of $14895 forthiswork.
RECOMMENDATION
Request City Council reallocate $13 352.00 from 3902125 (Paint Hangar Exteriors) to 3902008 (Corporate Hangar Repairs).
PROJECT COST - BUDGET IMPACT
$13 352.00 from CIP 3902125 (Paint Hangar Exteriors) combined with $1,543 from Property Maintenance (10051400- 62431)
will cover the cost of the roof replacement.
ACTION TO BE TAKEN
I respectfully request the City Council approve the reallocation of funds.
